Why choose this course?
The Occupational English Test (OET) preparation course is designed to help students and overseas-trained healthcare professionals prepare for Occupational English Test. OET assesses English language skills of healthcare professionals in 12 professions (Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science) who want to register and practise in an English-speaking environment.
OET is recognised and trusted by regulatory healthcare bodies and councils in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. It is also recognised by the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection for work and student visas.
You will learn exam-taking strategies, gain extensive exam practice using past papers, develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and prepare for the four sub-tests within the OET. You will improve your ability to communicate more effectively and confidently in English in a healthcare context, learn relevant vocabulary and concepts, and discuss recent developments in healthcare fields.
