We aim to develop a robust framework for reviewing policy and informing policy-makers responsible for devising solutions to the far-reaching effects of diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease and their related conditions.
Our research crosses fields of study. We draw on research from our many project nodes at the Charles Perkins Centre, the members of which work across an array of disciplines, including: law, ethics, political theory, economics and sociology.
Our vision is a normative framework for the justification and criticism of policy, which will ultimately improve non-communicable disease management at a national level. We encourage our project nodes to work towards research output that will support and contribute to our theme’s goals.
