China Studies Centre Memberships
The China Studies Centre (CSC) has four categories of Members. The membership applications are reviewed and submitted to the CSC Executive Committee, and approved annually by the CSC Board of Management.
The 4 categories of membership are:
Academic Members
Academic Members of the Centre are academic members and staff of the University of Sydney with an academic interest in China or Chinese culture. All CSC Academic Group members are current academic members.

Associate Members
Associate Members are professional staff of the University of Sydney who are involved in China-related activities.

Research Student Members
Research Student Members are candidates for masters and doctoral degrees by research at the University of Sydney. Approval must be sought from your supervisor to be our member.
Support is provided to Research Student Members to undertake research in and on China.

Honorary Members
Honorary Members are honorary staff at the University of Sydney, members of staff from other institutions, or independent researchers who wish to be associated with the China Studies Centre.
Honorary membership of the China Studies Centre is determined by the Centre’s Executive Committee on recommendation from the Academic Appointments Committee for up to three years and is renewable.
