I would like to thank the Compass staff on behalf of Bass students and teachers for the valuable and enjoyable day we had at Sydney University. The organisation was superb and the workshops were relevant and interesting. The few complications (created by us) were resolved with patience and good humour by Alex and Sylvia.

Please pass on our thanks to Victoria, Dallas and Axel for their efforts and good company both in and outside the seminar rooms.

The Bass teachers spoke very positively about the day and are expressing interest in further supporting the Compass program. Students were enthusiastic and some were still talking about it the following morning. I can assure you that it is usually difficult to impress a 15 year old. Many of our students told us they had never visited a university before. We are putting together a Saturday excursion to the Open Day and have had some expressions of interest from within this Year 10 cohort.

Thanks again for all your efforts on all fronts. We look forward to further visits and exchanges later in the year.
