Becoming a Compass volunteer
To become a Compass volunteer, you will need to complete a three-stage process:
Application
Complete the online application form, which will take 15-20 minute, covers your interests and experience and will be accessible on this website when applications open.
Interview

All on-time applications will be reviewed by Compass staff. Shortlisted applicants will then be contacted by phone to arrange 30 minute interviews with Compass staff at the University of Sydney, Camperdown campus.
If you are shortlisted for interview, you will need to complete a NSW Working with Children Check Applicant Declaration and Consent form and bring it with you to the interview. You will also need to bring 100 points of identification (original documents only).
Compass staff will conduct referee checks of applicants after interviews.
Training
Successful applicants must attend Compass volunteer training.
New volunteers will begin at schools after successful completion of training.
