Mrs Ann Corlett BEc Syd '80
Representing: Economics & Business
I have a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Sydney. Subsequent to graduation and for much of the 1980's I worked in the mining industry where I was an executive director of two publicly listed mining companies. I have been a Volunteer Guide and Co-ordinator of Guides at the Art Gallery of NSW.
I have had a long time involvement and active engagement in the Not for Profit Sector as a volunteer. I am currently an Accredited Telephone Counsellor, Facilitator and Supervisor-on Call for Lifeline and a National Board Member for Lifeline Australia.
I am Deputy Chair of the External Advisory Committee of the Department of Government and International Relations at this University.
I am married and the mother of four university graduates.
My involvement with, and commitment to, The University of Sydney over a number of years has given me the opportunity to understand and actively support the University's engagement with its stakeholders and, in particular, with its alumni.
We all can be inspired and strengthened by connection with others.
Alumni relationships and an engagement with our University can be intellectually stimulating, provide effective networking opportunities and enrich our lives in so many ways.
