The honours year
The honours year in pure mathematics offers a highly flexible and adaptable program, which is both interesting and challenging. A combination of core units are offered, which introduce the major areas of mathematics, together with a variety of deeper courses courses which can be arranged to suit your personal requirements.
Workload and assessment
The honours year in pure mathematics comprises the equivalent of six lecture courses, together with an essay project (the equivalent of four lecture courses) and a 30 minute talk on the essay project.
