What you’ll study
The Master of Commerce is a postgraduate coursework degree that will give you a thorough understanding of commerce for use in various fields to assist you to pursue a career in business.
In your first year, you will take core units that will help you develop responsible and creative mindsets and become comfortable with the analytic component of this course.
You will choose one of eight specialisations offered and a foundational unit in your chosen specialisation. You will add breadth to your course by completing selective units from a variety of disciplinary subject areas.
These specialisations include:
- Accounting
- Business Information Systems
- Data Analytics for Business
- Economics
- Finance
- Global Logistics
- Marketing
- Strategy, Innovation and Management
In your final semester, you will complete a capstone unit where you will apply and integrate the skills and knowledge you'll gain throughout your specialisation. Additionally, you may complete elective units as needed to meet the requirements of the course. All units are taken from the disciplinary pool.
