What you’ll study

The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies is a degree that provides comprehensive grounding in business operations (including accounting, management, analytics) and an understanding of business in the wider society (including strategy and impact). It will assist you to develop critical interpersonal and leadership skills.

You will study core foundational units in commerce and a major or program from the Business School disciplinary pool with a Business School capstone unit.

You will then complete a second major from the disciplinary pool (Business School) or shared pool (other Faculties), along with units from the Open Learning Environment, and any elective units as needed to make up the required credit points for the course.

In the final year of your degree, you will undertake advanced coursework where you will enhance your leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and increase your employment prospects. You will undertake challenging coursework and a substantial real-world project individually or in collaboration with other students.

If you would like to study honours and meet the relevant admissions requirements, you will be able to apply for an appended honours degree after completing three years of undergraduate study.
