The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) program is run every second year in even numbered years only. It is not offered in 2015. Applications are now open for semester 1, 2016.
The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) focuses on the clinical practice of oral implant restoration. The diploma will upgrade your skills and clinical techniques in oral implant treatment for general dental practice.
The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) is a one and half year part-time course. Student must complete all units of study outlined for each semester.

This course provides candidates with the skills and knowledge to give oral implant treatment in general dental practice.
A successful applicant for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) will hold a Bachelor of Dentistry or Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney or equivalent institution; or an equivalent qualification that is recognised by the Australian Dental Board and with a curriculum acceptable to the faculty; or have completed the shorter embedded course in the relevant stream with sufficient merit. In addition to these requirements, admission to this course requires at least two years’ general dental practice and experience in dento-alveolar surgery, unless exempted by the faculty; and any examination and/or an interview as prescribed by the faculty. Local applicants are also required to be registered with the Australian Dental Board for practice at the time of application or immediately upon admission for international applicants.

Applications are made directly to the University and assessed by the Faculty. On-time applications for the March Semester close on the last working day of March the year before commencement.
Postgraduate Domestic Tuition Fee
This 2015, tuition fee for a domestic postgraduate student represents the fee that is payable by you in the calendar year you commence your course, commencing in 2014 for a standard annual full time load of 48 credit points (1.0 EFTSL). If your study load is more or less than the 1.0 EFTSL your fee will differ.
Annual review for postgraduate domestic tuition fee
Importantly, tuition fees are subject to annual review by the University, and are likely to increase each year of your period of study, effective at the start of each calendar year.
Additional incidental fees
For some courses there are incidental fees additional to the student contribution and/or course fee. Some of those fees are significant, for example, faculty-specific materials, tools, protected clothing and equipment. Potential for inaccuracy
