What you’ll study
The Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning provides the required knowledge and skills for professional planning practice within Australia whilst understanding the complexity of the contemporary global city. The program introduces students to key planning theories and debates whilst instilling the necessary professional knowledge and skills required to underpin professional planning practice.
You will develop the professional communication skills, reasoning and analytical processes required to make valuable contributions to the policy, technical and regulatory aspects of urban and regional planning.
Areas of study include history and theory in urban planning, planning procedures and planning law. The teaching curriculum covers both Australian and international contexts.
