The Sydney Law School Social Justice Program provides an important opportunity for students to gain practical legal experience and provide vital services to disadvantaged members of our community. It has a particular a particular focus on whether the reasoning behind some current developments in the law is best understood as the application of principles of justice, particularly distributive or corrective justice, a theory of rights, or rather, as guided by concepts of economic efficiency. The analysis may consider several areas of the civil law including tort, contract and property.
