Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical Engineering)

Level: Undergraduate

If your dream is to specialise in the design and construction of the aircraft of the future, the Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical) will provide you with a professional qualification in all aspects of aeronautical engineering, including aerodynamics, propulsion, flight structures, design, the mechanics of flight and control systems. Aeronautical engineers use their practical and theoretical knowledge of these areas to design, manufacture, modify, repair, overhaul, operate and certify aircraft.
The award can be completed with a specialisation in space engineering, an exciting new area of teaching and research concerned with the theory, design, testing, construction and use of engineering components in the most demanding of environments. The Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical Engineering) (Space) may lead you to a career in the aerospace, defence, environmental or space research sectors, in Australia or overseas.
As a Sydney graduate engineer, you will be accredited by Engineers Australia and recognised internationally through the Washington Accord.
