Bachelor of Environmental Systems
Level: Undergraduate
The Bachelor of Environmental Systems examines the tensions and synergies within agricultural and natural terrestrial ecosystems. The program has a clear focus on building knowledge and skills in quantitative analysis across disciplines and the application of systems-thinking to the issues of the day such as climate change, food security, water and carbon emissions. Core elements of the program span plant sciences, hydrology, geomorphology, soil science and atmospheric-biospheric interactions. From 2013 a challenging honours year in Environmental Systems may be undertaken by outstanding students, opening the door to higher degrees by research at Sydney in this cutting edge field.
