POSTGRADUATE SPECIALISATION
The specialisation in public health, healthcare and medical law covers the areas of the legal issues arising from the provision of health care services, the impact of new technologies on health care, and the regulation of the health professions. Other units explore the fields of public health law, mental health law, and global health governance. The specialisation attracts lawyers, health executives and administrators, doctors, nurses, dentists, and other eligible health professionals. It also caters to those who work in public health in government, in public health organisations, and in the community health sector, and those working in industry whose role encompasses public health regulation.
