The International Studies program responds to contemporary developments that affect the governance of societies, from terrorism to public sector reform. Courses at master's degree, graduate diploma and graduate certificate level offer a range of units of study in areas such as the state and governance of economic activity, communist and post-communist systems, Asia and the Pacific, Australian politics, Australian foreign and defence policy, American politics, public policy and public management.

You can choose to proceed by coursework to complete the required 8 units of study for the master's degree, or undertake a combination of coursework and a research path, comprising a project or dissertation on an approved topic within the discipline.
