Peace and Conflict Studies
Level: Postgraduate coursework
What are the causes of conflict and violence, and how could they be transformed into peace with justice? How can we safeguard human rights and the environment? The Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPaCS) prepares you to engage with these questions, from local to global, through its world-renowned Peace and Conflict Studies program.
In courses at master's degree, graduate diploma and graduate certificate level you will learn about peace journalism, the challenges of building peace after mass violence, community mediation, gender and peace, religion, war and peace, the politics of nonviolence and the psychology of peace.
The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies may be undertaken via a combination of distance learning and intensive face-to-face teaching, as well as full or part-time study in Sydney.
