Master of Policy Studies
Level: Postgraduate coursework
Our postgraduate program in policy studies attracts students from different countries and a range of backgrounds in the human-services industry. Whether your professional experience is in schools, hospitals, health or community centres, international organisations, the public service or police force, aged care, children's services, social work, unions, peak bodies or non-government organisations, you'll be joining a group of students whose shared goal is to learn more about policy processes because of a belief that policy changes can significantly improve social outcomes for individuals and communities. You will undertake international comparative analyses of policy debates and changes relating to human service organisations under the guidance of academic teaching staff who are experts in the fields of education and social services, and who have been actively involved in formulating social policy. This program assumes experience in a human service field and provides a unique opportunity to build on practice knowledge.
