Level: Postgraduate coursework
Health communicators are one of the largest industry workforces in public relations and media. The Health Communication program is designed to meet the needs of those working in or wishing to work in both the private and public sectors as well as non-government and community organisations. Courses at master's degree, graduate diploma and graduate certificate level provide media skills for professional communicators in health and medicine, public affairs, public relations, community relations and journalism.
The program delivers a solid, evidence-based education in public health, with units of study offering perspectives on international health, environmental health, children's and women's health, obesity and disease prevention, and health promotion.
