Graduate Certificate in Coaching Psychology

The Graduate Certificate in Coaching Psychology introduces the fundamentals of coaching practice and theories and techniques in coaching psychology.

Subject to meeting progression requirements, you may choose to transfer to the graduate diploma or master's degree in the program.

Study plan

Candidates for the Graduate Certificate in Coaching Psychology complete 24 credit points made up of three core units of study (18cp) and one elective unit of study (6cp). Study is available on a part time basis only, over 2 semesters, with 2 units taken each semester.

Graduate opportunities

Coaching psychologists are engaged in human resource development. Private practice, organisational consultancy and professional services firms are also major destinations for our graduates.

Admission requirements

Admission to the Graduate Certificate in Coaching Psychology requires:

(a) a three-year psychology degree or a three-year degree in a cognate discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent institution; and
(b) a minimum of two years relevant employment experience.

Postgraduate Domestic Tuition Fee

This 2013, tuition fee for a domestic postgraduate student represents the fee that is payable by you in the calendar year you commence your course, commencing in 2012 for a standard annual full time load of 48 credit points (1.0 EFTSL). If your study load is more or less than the 1.0 EFTSL your fee will differ.
