It also helps students acquire new skills for clinical practice and further their education in research methodology and in critical appraisal of relevant literature.

The Master of Medicine (Reproductive Health Sciences and Genetics) is open to applicants who hold a medical qualification (MBBS). The Master of Science in Medicine (Reproductive Health Sciences and Genetics) is open to applicants who hold a non-medical qualification. The two master's degrees offer the same course of study and eligible candidates may choose to combine their course with research toward the degree of Master of Philosophy (MPhil). Master of Philosophy candidates carry out supervised research on an approved topic and write a thesis embodying the results of this research which is submitted for examination.
