Early Childhood Settings and Communities

This foundationl unit of study helps students become familiar with the range of early childhood settings available for children from birth to five years. Students will begin to become familiar with the early childhood landscape, the regulations and quality framework governing early childhood services and the literature relating to quality care and education in early childhood services. This unit incorporates a series of eight visits to community-based early learning settings.
