Early Childhood Protective Environments (EDMT5560)

Children in contemporary society are viewed as capable and resourceful, confident and actively constructing the world around them. This unit of study helps students develop the understandings and skills to guide children's responses around protective behaviours and to encourage self discipline and positive interactions with other children and adults in early childhood environments. In the context of this unit, students also undertake Child Protection training in accordance with relevant jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
