Special Education: Inclusive Schools (EDMT6125)


This unit addresses mandatory requirements to be met by every graduate pre-service teacher. Issues relating to the education of students with a disability will be addressed through working with a student/s with a disability, conducting tutorials that highlight evidence-based practices for working with students with special education needs, and engaging in lectures and tutorials that promote attitudes, knowledge and beliefs that students with disabilities will access and participate in quality education programs. Please note that there is an additional compulsory half-day requirement of special education participation for students enrolled as reduced load.

48 credit points of Master of Teaching units including (EDMT5500, EDMT5502, EDMT5503 and EDMT5010)
