History Curriculum 3 (EDMT6609)

UNIT OF STUDY

This unit is designed to develop the skills and understanding necessary to teach current Board of Studies senior history syllabuses. The course also explores the realities of teaching students at this level and the various ways in which higher-order skills may be developed in response to the demands of the new Extension History Syllabus, Stage 6. Appropriate teaching materials are considered for this level of schooling and also the assessment modalities that are required by the Board of Studies.
