Teaching Aboriginal Studies 2

EDSE3081

This unit of study aims to prepare graduates for teaching Stage 6 Aboriginal Studies in NSW secondary schools. Through the development of units of work, assessment tasks, resources and field studies, students will develop teaching and learning strategies that analyse current socio-political issues in contemporary Australia with a focus on social justice and human rights issues for Indigenous communities at local, national and international levels. This will support graduates in becoming multi-skilled, adaptable and pro-active critical thinkers and educators of the future.
