This unit is designed to develop your understanding, knowledge and pedagogical skills in teaching a wide range of texts in English 7 - 12. There is an emphasis on theory in practice and wide reading as well as film and multimedia in English 7 - 12. There will be an emphasis on the application of current theoretical paradigms in practical teaching and learning units. The unit will consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding of the pedagogy and syllabus requirements for teaching English, 7-12.
