This unit builds on earlier ICT based experiences in Education 1 and IT in the Primary Classroom (A) in order to develop students' understanding of, and skills in, the application of contemporary information and communication technologies in the Primary classroom. Technical aspects will be drawn from the use of Web 2.0 tools and applications. By immersing ICT tools as part of assignments and activities, the unit of study will provide students with hands-on experiences in developing/designing learning and teaching resources relevant to the primary classroom.
