Students will explore a range of topics including pathophysiology, risk assessment, clinical exercise testing, the role of exercise and client monitoring. Emphasis will be placed on the scientific evidence underpinning the use of exercise and effective doses in those chronic diseases which are responsive to an exercise intervention.
