Textes et Société 2: Littérature Moderne (FRNC2626)

UNIT OF STUDY

This unit follows and complements FRNC2625. It is required for the major in the intermediate language stream. It will focus on a contemporary literary movement and its influence. Students will read a novel and a play within their socio-historical, philosophical and literary contexts and acquire conceptual and linguistic skills for reading and analysing literature in French. Particular attention will also be given to vocabulary development and to using written and spoken French within an academic setting.
