Professional French (FRNC2655)

UNIT OF STUDY

With its business orientation, this language unit aims at developing the communicative and cultural skills necessary to operate successfully in a French or francophone professional environment. Students will develop their oral and written skills in a professional context. They will also be familiarised with French business practices and will reflect on cross-cultural issues that affect language and communication in the workplace.

Prerequisites and assumed knowledge

French Continuers (80-94%) or French Continuers + Extension (less than Band 6 Continuers + Band 4 Extension) or IB Standard Level (less than Grade 7) or IB Higher Level (Grade 4-5)
