The Honours program in Greek (Ancient) consists of:1. a thesis written under the supervision of one or more members of academic staff2. two seminars that meet weekly for three hours for one semester3. one unseen exam on a Greek text.The thesis should be of 15,000 words in length. Each seminar requires 6,000 words of written work or it equivalent.The thesis is worth 45% of the final Honours mark, each of the seminars is worth 22.5% and the unseen exam is worth 10%.The following seminars are on offer in 2013:Classics of Greek Literature (Prof Peter Wilson)Greek Philosophical Texts (Prof Rick Benitez)For more information, contact Dr Paul Roche, Honours coordinator.
