Clinical Residency 1

PHAR5505

The overall objective of the Clinical Residency program is to complement Units of Study already undertaken in on-campus course work, and to develop experience in practice and professional settings. Clinical Residency One is conducted in Community Pharmacy placements- where the student will observe, and participate in. professional practice. A portfolio of activities designed for the community practice setting is a guide to assist self-directed learning in the professional practice setting. The activities also are triggers for students to appreciate and develop their knowledge of the Professional Competencies Framework for pharmacists. Students are prompted to be reflective in their learning through the experiential learning program and will write a reflective diary during the placement for assessment.
