Accommodation costs and additional charges vary according to whether students are undergraduate or postgraduate, the type of room and the length of stay. Students are able to reside at Sancta Sophia College year round for an additional cost.

Inclusions: Included in the accommodation costs are furnished rooms, three meals a day, room cleaning, electricity, water, access to pastoral and academic support and recreational programs, membership to Sydney Uni Sports and Fitness and University of Sydney Union.

Not provided: Bed linen, towels and personal electrical items.

Facilities: Sancta Sophia College provides accommodation for undergraduate females and postgraduate male and female students. Undergraduate residents can choose from single or shared rooms (twin) with shared bathroom facilities, some ensuite rooms are available.

Sancta Sophia Graduate House which opened in January 2014 is a brand new building and is the first and only bespoke postgraduate building on campus. It features a stylish, contemporary design and offers boutique accommodation for postgraduate men and women. There are 128 ensuite rooms featuring mini fridges and microwaves.

The Main College has well equipped rooms tailored for the needs of students and a blend of grand, heritage rooms and modern common areas. Sancta Sophia College provides residents with opportunities to become involved in many of the social, religious, cultural and sporting events that occur throughout the University and College calendar.

Facilities at Sancta Sophia include a library, tutorial and music rooms, communal laundries (smart card operated), common lounges and several kitchens for student use. The Sheldon Dining Hall is very much at the heart of the daily student rhythm. The Quad is a peaceful sanctuary that offers a private area for sitting, study or eating lunch and is often the venue for social occasions and bbqs. The Figtree Terrace and Rooftop Terrace in Graduate House provide additional outdoor areas for students. The Principal and Vice Principal are full time residential staff. There is a strong program of pastoral and academic support including tailored tutorials and mentoring.

Eligibility: Future or current University of Sydney undergraduate females and all postgraduate students may apply. Students attending nearby universities including UTS, ACU and the University of Notre Dame may also apply.
