Student colleges
Our student colleges are affiliated with the University and are located on the Camperdown/Darlington campus. The colleges offer academic support in the form of regular tutorials, together with mentoring and pastoral support, all of which can make a vital difference to success at University. Accommodation includes meals and furnished rooms, and the students themselves initiate a range of social, cultural and sporting activities. There are a limited number of places so it's good to get your application in as soon as possible
Your accommodation fees are payable in one lump sum before the start of each semester. You'll enter into a contract with the college and this will detail the timeframe for your stay as well as your responsibilities.

Mandelbaum House
Location: Building H67, Darlington (see map)
Type: single study bedrooms.
Cost: $452 per week
Inclusions: Utilities, internet, room cleaning, catered meals (3 times a day, 5 days a week), bed linen, towels, fully furnished bedrooms with a single bed, mattress, built-in mirrored wardrobe, study desk with a lamp, chair, pinboard, bookshelf, bedside table with a lamp, telephone, heater and fan, and a hand basin.
Not provided: Personal electrical items.
Facilities: Kitchenette on each floor, communal dining and lounge rooms, library with study areas and computer facilities, table-tennis and pool table, coin-operated laundry, and access to the roof-top area and BBQ facilities.
Additional costs: Non-refundable fees of $100 for application, $165 for registration, a data access fee of $150 and Resident Society fee of $100 per semester, and a refundable room deposit of $1000. Secure car parking is available for $7 per day, $21 per week or $378 per semester.
Eligibility: Students must be currently enrolled or be awaiting a firm offer from the University of Sydney.

Sancta Sophia College

Type: single or twin share rooms.
Cost: $370–$440 per week (postgraduate rooms from $445–$475)
Inclusions: Utilities, internet, room cleaning, catered meals (3 times a day, 7 days a week), fully furnished bedrooms with bed, mattress, wardrobe, study desk with a lamp, chair, ceiling fan and a telephone. Residents also get free membership to Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness and the University of Sydney Union.
Not provided: Bed linen, towels and personal electrical items.
Facilities: Modern bathrooms on each floor, dining hall, common rooms, library with study areas and computer facilities, tutorial and music rooms, coin-operated laundry, and access to the Sancta Quadrangle and surrounding gardens. Secure parking is available on request.
Additional costs: Non-refundable fees of $150 for application, $400 for enrolment, Orientation Week Student Club fee of $190, internet and phone access charge of $130, Student’s House Committee Fee of $195 per semester, and a refundable room deposit of $1500.
Eligibility: Future or current University of Sydney undergraduate females and all postgraduate students may apply. Students attending nearby universities including UTS, ACU and the University of Notre Dame may also apply.
