Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA)
SUPRA is run by postgrads for postgrads with a goal to promote, support and provide assistance – both academically and personally – during your time at Sydney.
SUPRA provides free advice and acts on behalf of individual students on matters such as:
- fee issues
- academic appeals
- supervision issues
- Centrelink advice
- accommodation and tenancy advice
- show cause and exclusion
- plagiarism and misconduct issues
- intellectual property.
Members can attend SUPRA’s annual general meeting, nominate themselves for a Council position, subscribe to the International, Women, Indigenous, Disability or Queer networks, get involved in activities and campaigns, make use of the free SUPRA computer facilities and subscribe to eGrad, SUPRA’s electronic newsletter.
Membership cost: free
Become a supporter: pay any amount between $20 and $80 per calendar year and help ensure the financial security of SUPRA and an ongoing independent voice for postgraduate students.
This payment is voluntary and can be completed on the SUPRA website.
