What is this thing called university?

This lecture covers some basic facts about university structure and processes. For example, it covers the general organisational structure of departments and schools within faculties and central units of the university.

It provides basic information about the student numbers, campuses and governance of the university.

It also briefly covers some of the university services and processes which may be relevant to students through their first year such as careers and course planning, academic skills development and libraries.
