Faculty, School and Student Welcome Events

The faculty and school welcome events are essential to your orientation experience. They are friendly, practical sessions that introduce you to the teachers and staff you will be in regular contact with, and provide important information related to your course.

You’ll learn about your faculty’s facilities, administrative procedures and receive advice to help you prepare for the year ahead. It's also a great opportunity to meet your peers and find out about student and professional associations related to your study. If you are studying with more than one faculty, we encourage you to attend all welcomes relevant to your degree.

In this lively debate, some of the most dynamic academics at Sydney will present their wildly different views on love, and they will do so through the prism of their own academic specialties. You will not only get to hear about some incredible ideas – but also see how various disciplines work and how they might approach a phenomenon as nebulous, awe-inspiring and life changing as love.
