The Koori Centre is a culturally safe space for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
The Centre provides a fully equipped computer laboratory, photocopying facilities, research library, a tutorial room for study and a student/staff common room with full kitchen facilities.
The promotion of understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their knowledge and cultures, is a core part of our purpose as a University.

Koori Centre Research Library
The Koori Centre Research Library is open between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Our Librarian, Uma Ketheson, is available during these times to advise staff and students on the resources in the collection.
The Library holds a comprehensive range of materials specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues, which can be accessed on-site. Please note this is a research only library and books and journals are not for loan.
The Library also houses an extensive film collection, and students and staff are able to view these using the in-house audio visual system.
From 2010 the Koori Centre Research Library collection will be hosted by the University of Sydney Library. This will allow users to search the Koori Centre Library holdings through the University of Sydney Library Catalogue System.
