Rotary Endodontics 1: A Rotary Refresher
This one day course can be viewed as part one of a larger course comprised of 2.5 days.
Part one is designed to provide an introduction (or a revision) to three well established rotary systems and will introduce you to, or refresh your knowledge of, these rotary methods of preparation. Additionally the course will go through the basics of sound endodontic practice as it applies to the use of rotary techniques.
The systems discussed will be the BioRace, M2 System and ProTaperNext. After a morning of presentations the afternoon is devoted to practical exercises and demonstrations within the University simulation clinic.
During the day we will refresh your memory on access cavities and the importance of straight line access, the necessity of isolation, the importance of medicaments and irrigation.
Participants will have ample time to use the systems with the University of Sydney Simulation Clinic using both plastic blocks and extracted teeth. Please bring along at least four accessed multi-rooted teeth to make the most of this session.
