Luke Villata

Luke Villata graduated from the University of Sydney in 1984. He then worked in private practice in Tasmania and London until 1993. During his time in London Luke completed various courses in implants and periodontology. From 1993-1996 he attained a Masters Degree in periodontology that was undertaken at the Royal Dental College, Aarhus, Denmark. During the course of his studies Luke published in International Journals. On completion of his Masters degree he returned to Australia and has been working as a Periodontist since 1996.
Luke Villata practices in all aspects of periodontology. This includes treatment of advanced periodontal disease, aesthetic surgery grafting to replace lost gum tissue and replacement of missing teeth with implant supported crowns.
At the University of Sydney, Luke is presently a lecturer in Periodontics and also involved in the teachings of post-graduate programs.
He is also currently a member of the committee of the Australian Osseointegration Society, the Australian Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, European Society of Osseointegration and the British Society of Periodontology.
