Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics)

The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) trains qualified dentists who wish to specialise in periodontics. You will develop technical skills in periodontal implants and clinical periodontics as you acquire a comprehensive understanding of the field of periodontology.

As a postgraduate dentistry student, you will learn from expert oral health professionals and researchers as you study at our Camperdown campus, as well as at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health and the Sydney Dental Hospital. Your studies will be primarily clinical based with didactic sessions, complemented by a research project in periodontal surgery or practice under the supervision of an academic staff member.
