Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education)

Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) & Registrar Professor Derrick Armstrong The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) and Registrar is responsible for all aspects of the student experience: learning and teaching, student administration and support, student recruitment and social inclusion.
Executive Director and Portfolio Manager Mr David Pacey Provides high level support and advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) and Registrar and leads the implementation of strategic priorities, financial management and leadership across the portfolio.
Executive Officer Ms Sally Paynter Coordinates the development and provision of advice for the Deputy Vice Chanellor (Education) and Registrar on portfolio related matters, including collaborating with key internal stakeholders to ensure that portfolio strategies are integrated and align with the University’s strategic directions.
Executive Assistant (Acting) Helen Keys Provides high level support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) and Registrar.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs Professor Marie Carroll Academic quality, policy and standards. Including systematic review of university education policies and liaison with government, G08 and academic community.
Director, Graduate Studies Office Mr Simon French Enhancement of the quality of coursework and research higher degrees and the postgraduate experience, through collaboration with faculties and other units.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Educational Operations

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Educational Operations Professor Tyrone Carlin Ensures best practice student related administrative operations across the university. Responsible for improving the quality, efficiency and outcomes of student administrative services for both domestic and international students and ensuring a client focused approach to service delivery.
Acting Director, International Student Office Mr Jay Jayatilaka Assisting international students in their application to study at the University and in their time while they are students. The office also manages the Study Abroad and Exchange programs.
Director, Centre for English Teaching  Mr Patrick Pheasant To provide high quality English language programs to prospective students.
Director, Student Lifecycle Management  Ms Gillian Luck Ensures that administrative services and systems are delivered in a convenient, accessible, simple and efficient manner.

Student Support Services

Head, Maths Learning Centre  Ms Jackie Nicholas To support eligible undergraduate students to develop the mathematical knowledge, skills and confidence needed for university study. 

Sydney eLearning
