Applications now open: new interdisciplinary project unit of study

NSW parliament and University of Sydney logos, drone and keyboard collage

In semester 1 2017, the University is offering an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students from across the University to collaborate on research projects addressing issues of importance to contemporary Australia.

Our flagship partner, the NSW Parliament has identified a range of potential projects in areas requested by serving Members of Parliament that our students can help to address. In Semester 1, two special research topic areas are available:

•    Contemporary issues in social media

•    Drones, surveillance and privacy

Students are now invited to apply for this innovative unit, INDP3000 – Interdisciplinary Project. Applications will be assessed by a panel, and interviews will be held before the end of the year. In semester 1, 20 students will be able to participate.

Law students in their final and penultimate years of the LLB and JD degrees are also eligible to participate in this program by enrolling in LAWS3508 / LAWS5208.  Interested Law students should follow the standard application process for INDP3000 as detailed below.
