Division of Postgraduate Coursework and Professional Education
The faculty is at the forefront of teaching innovations in education and offers a range of courses in graduate studies as well as short courses in professional development for professional educators and social workers.
The Master of Education is one of the largest postgraduate programs in Australia. It offers a broad array of seminar courses and degree possibilities with flexible transfer options and many of these courses overlap with units of study that may be studied independently through the division's professional-learning portfolio.
Professional-development courses can be designed to suit client needs; the division consults closely with agencies and organisations to tailor its expertise.
Some students, as a result of work in their particular fields, wish to move from a coursework degree to research-higher-degree study. The Division of Postgraduate Coursework and Professional Education encourages students to discuss these possibilities and helps them with the transition.
