Research publications

The Faculty of Education and Social Work has a reputation for publishing world-class research across a range of fields every year. Over the past 10 years, the faculty has published and average of nearly 150 articles, books, book chapters and conference papers every year. A complete guide to these publications is available under the menus at the left of this page including, where available, online access to the articles. As well, many of the faculty's academics edit prestigious refereed journals in their area of expertise. These roles are listed under "Journal service".

From 1998 until 2006, the faculty published its own international refereed journal twice yearly. Titled Change: Transformations in Education (ISSN 1441-9319), the journal had focused on educational change and innovation, educational restructuring, school reform and associated issues of teacher professionalism in international, national and local contexts. It was regarded as an important resource for educational researchers; administrators concerned with educational change; and for those working in the professional development of educators in changing contexts. The complete set of articles from all issues (1998-2006) is available within the Sydney eScholarship Repository.
