Thesis title: Value Free Management for Social Workers: An Impossible Ask?

Thesis abstract:

This study seeks to understand how social work values, principles, and practice that social workers learn in traning and develop in practice might be changed or impacted when social workers transition to become managers. It seems probable that the values and ideas that feature in contemporary management theory and practice might interact with a social workers' existing value base.
