Services and maintenance

An array of specialty hardware and software is located in the education precinct. The main examples are listed on this page. The faculty's Digital Innovation and Knowledge Management team provides user-support and maintenance for many of these infrastructure units.


Servers and hardware

The Digital Innovation and Knowledge Management team regularly conducts upgrades of faculty servers and hardware, and provides maintenance internally for the various servers that host all the specialty online services and software systems, including LearnLab, StaffMoodle, the faculty directory, document management, backups and much more.


Equipment

The Faculty of Education and Social Work has a collection of multimedia and document-publishing equipment. The details of what equipment is available and how faculty members can access it are available from the faculty intranet page that describes services and maintenance.


Labs and software

Teaching computer labs and specialty software such as IBM's Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and NVivo are installed, updated, maintained and adapted locally by the Faculty of Education and Social Work's Digital Innovation and Knowledge Management team.
