Course requirements

To qualify for the award of Master of Education (International Education), a candidate must complete 48 credit points, including:

  • 18 credit points of core units; and
  • 12 credit points of capstone units.

To qualify for the award of Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies (International Education), a candidate must complete 36 credit points, including:

  • 18 credit points of core units.

To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies (International Education), a candidate must complete 24 credit points, including:

  • 18 credit points of core units.

Please note: The availability of units of study, particularly electives, may vary from year to year.

Master’s candidates must complete either the Special Project or the Dissertation, normally in the final semester of enrolment. Students who intend to undertake a higher degree by research (MPhil, PhD, EdD) in the future should enrol in the Dissertation. Please note that entry requirements apply for the Dissertation – please refer to the application form for further details.
