Paper title: Shakespeare Reloaded: The creation of a collaborative learning community
Linzy Brady is a PhD candidate researching how Shakespeare’s texts are taught in secondary schools in Sydney and London. Of particular interest to Linzy is the interdisciplinary focus on Shakespeare in the secondary-school English classroom resulting from collaborative learning communities that use the combined expertise of teachers, academics and arts' practitioners.
Linzy began her PhD after obtaining her teaching qualification from the University of Sydney and working for five years in secondary schools in London, where she taught Shakespeare and experienced the benefits of interaction with the arts and theatre companies. Her supervisors are
